Data Protection & Privacy

Advising on the applicability of personal data protection laws and the policies and procedures to be put in place pursuant to the personal data protection laws as well as development of training programmes to fulfil the personal data protection principles under the laws. We also advise clients in the technology industry on the legal effects of the transfer of data outside of Malaysia, particularly those who subscribe to private and public cloud services.

Financial Technology (FinTech)

Advising on communications and multimedia licensing and regulation, payment services, cyber laws, e-commerce and other Internet-related issues. We also advise on FinTech-related matters including data protection, intellectual property, restructuring, capital raising and crowdfunding, consumer protection and commercial contracts.

Information Technology & Telecommunications

Handling all aspects of acquisition and exploitation of IT rights (and consequently IP rights) including negotiating and drafting licensing agreements, franchise agreements, technology transfer agreements, IT consultancy agreements, software management, maintenance agreements and end user agreements.
