EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS

Jimmy has over 20 years of experience in financial restructuring and insolvency work with KPMG. He led the set-up of a restructuring practice in Jakarta before he retired as a partner of KPMG Singapore & Indonesia in 2017.

His current area of work involves advising clients on restructuring and insolvency. Jimmy regularly gives talks and seminars on restructuring and insolvency to clients and at conferences. He was a contributing writer of a book titled Law and Practice of Corporate Insolvency in Malaysia, published by Sweet & Maxwell in 2019. He was the co-editor of the book, Restructuring and Insolvency, A commentary, published by Sweet and Maxwell in 2023.

He has led several M&A transactions. Clients find his financial experience at KPMG valuable to his current legal work.

He was appointed to the board of Lonpac Insurance Bhd in August 2019 as an independent non-executive director.
